Somebody needs to fix her! August 6, 2008

 

Well Praise the Lord, we are teething!  And there is nothing more annoying than knowing what is wrong with your baby and not being able to fix it.  You can only give your child so much medication, teething tablets, orajel…you name it!

The other night McKenzie was a little fussy and was ready for bed as well and would not stop crying, so Ethan emerged into the kitchen with his “fixer” outfit on, proclaiming…..”I am Fixer Ethan, I am here to fix my baby sister so she will stop crying…!”  O if it were that simple, you would see me in those silly goggles 24/7 this week, tears streaming down with a piece of ice cream cake beside me!:)

So Ethan worked his magic to fix her…and apparently…..IT WORKED!

Happy 4th of July! July 24, 2008

Well the 4th was an occasion this year!!!  We packed a whole lot into this day and it was a blast! (no pun intended!)  We went to the parade and got a ton of candy and 2 picnics and ate brownies…seeing a trend here…haha

Ethan had so much fun and McKenzie loved the fireworks, and Mommy and Daddy….were tired!

Ever since Ethan could chew, snack time has been a ritual in this house…Raymond would get home from work and find some salty, yummy snack and have a seat on the couch and snack away!  Ethan would see him and climb up onto his lap and snack time began…todays choice was Pringles, and I think someone else wanted to join them…haha

Even Dino’s wear shoes… July 8, 2008

Dino’s are pretty big at my house right now, we had a dino party and of course there were more dino’s than you could shake a stick at….hhmmm would you shake a stick @ a dino.  I mean seriously, if I was taking a walk and saw a dino, the last thing I would do is shake a stick at it…I would run….uumm sorry, I digressed.  But my hubbie thought it would be fun to take the dino for a “walk”…my son was highly entertained by this and of course then they all had shoes, slippers, flip flops, crocs…anything we could find!   

I wonder how it felt for that dino…walking a mile in my shoes….hhhmmm

Welcome to Bush Manor June 3, 2008

Welcome to The Bush Family Blog…I will be your host (ess), Khristina!:) 

I am excited about being able to blog our family during these exciting times!  We are 4 and strong!  Ethan will be 4 years old next week and it is nuts how fast it has gone!  McKenzie turned 4 months on Sunday and is doing things thinking she is 10 months…hehe  They are amazing kids and I am honored to be their mother! 

Ok, ok, I am done being sappy…onto the other truths…

1. I am tired!
2. I need a vacation!
3. SAHM moms need to get paid, kisses are wonderful, but have you put gas in your car lately?
4. I need more time to scrapbook.
5. My car is a mess.
6. The laundry is never ending.

Sounds like I complain alot huh?  Not really, I love my life, God has blessed me beyond what I can even dare ask or think.  But I am realistic too!  haha
